Upgrade economy FAQ

How much gold does it cost to max a card to Level 16?

Taking a Common from Level 1 to Level 16 costs 370.6K gold in total. Gold costs are identical across rarities at each level since the November 2025 economy rework — higher rarities just start at higher levels, so they skip the cheap early upgrades.

What happened to Elite Wild Cards?

The November 2025 Level 16 update removed Elite Wild Cards — existing ones converted to Gems. Level 15 now costs regular card copies and 90,000 gold, and Level 16 costs copies plus 120,000 gold. Overflow copies at Level 16 convert into Crystals for cosmetics.

When was Level 16 enabled in Ranked?

Level 16 arrived on November 24, 2025 and stayed disabled in Ranked until May 2026, when the Ranked cap moved up from Level 15.

How many copies does each rarity need to max out?

Common: 23.1K copies from its starting level (1). Rare: 4,786 copies from its starting level (3). Epic: 596 copies from its starting level (6). Legendary: 67 copies from its starting level (9). Champion: 41 copies from its starting level (11)
