Copying a deck into Clash Royale
The Copy deck button, the official deep link behind it, and what happens on phone vs desktop.
Every deck page has a Copy deck button. It uses the official Clash Royale copy-deck link (link.clashroyale.com) — the same mechanism the game itself uses for deck sharing.
What happens when you press it
The official link opens
Clashest opens the official copy-deck link in a new tab. The link contains the deck's 8 card ids.
On a phone: the game launches
If Clash Royale is installed, the link launches the game with the deck loaded and ready to save into a deck slot. Confirm the slot in game and you are done.
On a desktop: the link is copied
Desktops usually cannot launch the game, so the same link is also copied to your clipboard. Send it to your phone (message yourself, AirDrop, etc.) and open it there.
You can also go the other way: paste any copy-deck link into the deck link parser to open that deck's stats page on Clashest.
