Tower troops on decks
Where tower troop data comes from, why it is sometimes missing, and how it is never inferred.
Tower troops (like Tower Princess, Cannoneer, Dagger Duchess, and Royal Chef) defend your towers but are not one of the 8 deck cards. The official API reports a battle's tower troop as a support card on each player.
Clashest stores the tower troop exactly as the API reported it — and only then. If a battle did not record one, nothing is inferred or backfilled.
How it shows on deck pages
A deck page's header lists the most-used tower troops for that deck, with each one's share of the battles that actually recorded a tower troop — the tooltip shows the exact counts. When no analyzed battle for the deck recorded one, the section is hidden entirely.
Deck cards in list views can also show the deck's most common tower troop when the data exists.
