Time windows explained
What 1d through season mean, and how the special "patch" window follows the latest balance change.
Every stats page aggregates battles over a time window. Shorter windows react faster to the meta; longer windows have bigger, steadier samples.
| Window | Covers | Best for |
|---|---|---|
1d | Last 24 hours | Spotting overnight shifts — smallest samples. |
3d | Last 3 days | Early reads after a balance change. |
7d | Last 7 days | The default — a good balance of freshness and sample size. |
14d | Last 14 days | Steadier rankings. |
30d | Last 30 days | The big picture. |
season | Last 35 days | Roughly one in-game season. |
patch | Since the latest balance change | The current meta only — see below. |
The "patch" window
The patch window counts the days since the most recent balance change post in the Clashest news archive. After a balance day, it starts small and grows until the next patch.
Two honest guardrails: the window is clamped between 1 and 60 days (so a same-day patch still shows at least one day, and a stale archive cannot blow the window up), and if no balance post exists, it falls back to 7 days.
Trend delta
Every window's trend arrows compare it to the previous window of equal length. A 7-day view compares against the 7 days before it.
Example · Usage 4.2% this week vs 3.0% last week shows as a +1.2 percentage-point rising trend.
