Valkyries hit everything around them inside TH8's tight compartments, and two Golems buy them the time they need. It's the most forgiving true smash at this hall — one funnel, one lane, heal on cooldown.
GoHo (Golem + Hog Riders)

Hogs ignore walls and shred defenses once the Clan Castle is neutralized, which is the whole game at TH8. The Golem kill squad handles the one thing that beats Hogs — defending troops — before the real attack starts.
Mass Dragons + Lightning

The longest-standing war staple at TH8: three Air Defenses are the only real threat, and Lightning removes one before takeoff. Dragons forgive sloppy deployment in a way no ground army does.
