Balance Changes — October 2024 (Season 64)
The biggest patch of the half-year: after September shipped no balance changes, October pulled back the P.E.K.K.A, Tesla, Zap, and Goblin Drill Evolutions while buffing the struggling Goblin Queen's Journey cards.
September's Season 63 came and went without a balance patch, so this update carried two months of pressure. Much of it landed on Evolutions: Evolved Tesla lost its death pulse (with a base-card hit-speed compensation), Evolved Zap lost its third zap, and the Evolved Goblin Drill's submerge damage was removed.
The patch also included two much-discussed token changes — Magic Archer and Mother Witch each lost exactly 1 hitpoint.
