March 2026 Update: C.H.A.O.S Mode, Album Event and Global Tournaments Return
The 10th-anniversary update launched the modifier-driven C.H.A.O.S mode and league, a nostalgia Album Event, revamped Global Tournaments, and a Trophy Road extension to 14,000.
The March 2026 update set up Clash Royale's 10th-anniversary celebrations and introduced C.H.A.O.S — a new mode where players build decks from a curated card pool and pick modifiers mid-battle to buff their cards, complete with a competitive C.H.A.O.S League and badges.
An Album Event had players collecting image snippets to reconstruct scenes from the game's first decade; completing it awarded the free Hero Magic Archer, an emote and an anniversary tower skin. Hero Barbarian Barrel also joined the roster with its Rowdy Reroll ability.
Global Tournaments returned in revamped form — unlocked from Arena 3, played with owned cards fixed at Level 11, with percentile leaderboards and a Hall of Fame. Trophy Road grew by four arenas (29–32) to 14,000 trophies, and the social tab gained QR-code quickplay and friend codes.
The update also delivered the February promises: Heroes unlocking at Arena 5, better Lucky Chest duplicate protection, 75 guaranteed Hero Fragments per Pass season, and — from mid-March — selectable Hero unlocks and the consolidated three-slot deck layout.
